Review:
An altogether terrible film, Alien Seed has an uninteresting plot, unlikable characters and it is chock full of bad acting, poor dialogue and laughable special effects. The plot is paper thin and as a result the filmmakers throw in far too many chase sequences, presumably in an attempt to fill out the film's runtime. With a cast made up almost entirely of unknowns, it is not much of a surprise to see such poor acting and Erik Estrada, himself not known for great acting skills, appears in just a handful of scenes, despite being plastered all over the marketing for the film. There are virtually no aliens in the film, we get just a couple of brief sequences of some guys wearing white robes and costume store rubber masks. The writing is often incompetent and sometimes laughable, but everything else is just so bad that it really doesn't even qualify as a so bad it's good type of film. There's a reason this film has faded into obscurity.
